Scam Alert!!!! A guy on whatsapp screamed out claiming that he was duped after paying a man on whatsapp to buy 4gb data from him.

He said:  "I saw this post on whatsapp yesterday around 7pm, I love the price and i decided to try it because i was tired of subscribing 1000naira for 1gb thrice in a month. But my mind was telling me it was a scam but i decided to check it out and see if it was true. So i called the man and told him that i would love to buy mtn 4gb data which is 1000naira according to his post, then i asked how do i pay him the money. He replied saying that if am to send airtime it would attract 100naira with the 1000naira but if i want to transfer to his bank account its just 1000naira only. I said okay. But through the man’s voice i could see he wasn't a young guy, he might probably be 30 or 40. So i decided to trust him. I sent the airtime to him. After sending it, i him called back to ask him if he had seen it he said no.

  The he gave me another number to send it to. After resending it i called him again to ask if he had seen it again. He then said that he has seen the message but have not opened it....so i hanged up...waiting.....from no where sleep just carry me commot....i woke up around 1am in the midnight to check my inbox seeing that no transaction as been made yet so i decided to call him again to tell him.

Doing that he kept cutting the calls later his number kept telling me switched off. I log on to whatsapp seeing that he has blocked me. So i laughed, and was angry at the same time. I knew i have been duped.

So am using this medium to inform everyone, that whenever you see any post saying that they are selling data please and please just ignore it because it is a scam unless you want to learn the type of lesson i learnt..... And please beware of this numbers...(08132413853, 07085248254) they might come out in a new dimension"
