Cesc Fabregas and Alvaro Morata’s first half goals were all Premier League Champions, Chelsea needed to see off Everton at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The victory followed last weekend’s stunning win over Tottenham at the Wembley.
Chelsea opened the scoring in the 27th minute when a quick free kick allowed Willian to play in Cesc Fabregas and the Spaniard initiated a deflected one-two with Morata before prodding the ball expertly into the far corner.
Five minutes before the break they struck again.
This time Morata scored his second goal in a Chelsea shirt nodding an inviting right-wing cross into the net from close range.
Chelsea’s next match will be against Leicester City after the international break.
